Great service. I have been going here and having Shantelle style my hair for 10 + years. She did my hair for my wedding and even after moving 40 minutes away I would not trust anyone else with my hair. She always respects what I want done while offering her expert suggestions and it always turns out beautifully!

I’ve been going to Scalentes for several years. Shantelle is a true visionary and is very skilled at both colouring and cutting. She understands hair, and I always feel heard when I give parameters for what I’d like. Although honestly I usually just say “you’re the professional!” and leave it in her hands. I get many compliments on my hair, but honestly it’s all her! Also, she’s very chill. It’s all very relaxed and authentic. Oh, and she’s always up with the latest trends (if you’re into that ;)
The salon itself is always very clean, and the owner’s love for the salon is apparent; her special touches are everywhere from the art to the splash of Bailey’s in your coffee :)

Hi, I'm the guy with basketball hat. My wife had an ash-blonde balayage done today at this salon. She has black hair, and Kelly did a marvellous job to get the exact colour she wanted. She has tried three others salons in Ottawa, but never got the exact colour she wanted. Kelly & the staff was very welcoming and professional. She is very happy that she has finally found "the hair dresser & salon"
